We discussed 3 basic areas that day and I couldn't believe the results. One area concerned a relationship. I happened to come into contact with that person and I was so surprized no hard feelings came up, no anger, just no issues. The technique you taught me did make a big difference. My toe is also feeling better with some movement. Things are going in the right direction. Thanks for all your help.

I wanted to write & let you know what has been going on with me since I learned this technique. I have used it in lots of different areas of my life, but these two stand out, and are worth mentioning. One is, for a long time, I have had a problem with my esophagus when I am eating. It will tighten up, and I feel like I am about to choke. The muscles in my esophagus just tense up, and the food gets stuck, and it had become a little scary each time I'd eat because I never knew when it would happen. It had gotten to where it was a frequent occurance, sometimes every other day or so. (I noticed the more stress I was under, the more it happened.) I used this techinique on that, and I have not had one single recurrance since then. It's been several weeks without an episode, and that is unheard of for me. The other thing I used it for was for overcoming procrastination. I had a variety of projects I knew I really needed to take action on, but I had just gotten to where I couldn't seem to make myself to get it in gear. After applying this technique to procrastination, I got nearly immediate results, and now I look forward to tackling new things, and feel so much better getting these things done that have been hanging over me for so long. Wow, I used your stress reduction technique on anxiety I had developed 8-12 months ago about driving on the interstate. I did it one time with you, and didn't really think too much more about it....until, last week I was driving to Chatanooga, with semi- trucks on both sides, and I suddenly realized, I wasn't nervous at all. Previously I'd have broken out in a sweat, and had butterflies from the fear, but I was perfectly calm. This fear had really felt like a prison to me before because of all the things it was keeping me from doing that I really enjoy. I feel free again. Thank you!

You showed me how to use this technique for managing pain. I have an appointment to have a tooth pulled, and the tooth has been very painful, day after day, for months. I used the technique twice in a row and all of the pain went away, and now I'm not afraid to go to the dentist. This is wonderful

After seeing my best friend in the hospital following a terrible car wreck, I was having a lot of anxiety and grief over his accident, which I'd witnessed from the car behind him. After you taught me to use this technique for a different issue, I used the technique myself, and my fear and intense grief went away, and I was able to stop dwelling on it. When he subsequently died as a result of his injuries, I was able to use your stress management technique on my own to cope in a very positive way. It enabled me to celebrate his life and our friendship without being overwhelmed by these very stressful circumstances. I am so thankful I learned this technique before this happened.

Since you taught me your stress reduction technique, I have been using it on just about everything! One thing I wanted to share with you is how it worked for me in a very subtle way that I didn't notice until after the fact. Because of a hearing impairment, I have grown increasingly uncomfortable in noisy environments, afraid I won't be able to hear, and that I will misunderstand things that are said. It had caused me to really stop doing a lot of fun things, just because the anxiety of going out with people would stress me out so much. I had been using your technique for about a week on a variety of things, when my husband wanted to take me out to a local restaurant that does Karaoke. Normally just the idea would have stressed me out. But I didn't even bat an eye when he mentioned it, and we went and had a wonderful time. When one of the gentlemen who finished singing came off the stage I even waved him over to give him some encouragement, and it wasn't until he walked away that it occurred to me, "I just voluntarily started talking to a complete stranger, and I wasn't the tiniest bit nervous about being able to understand him." The feeling of freedom this is giving to me is priceless. Thank you so much.
