Effective October 1, 2009, the following policies will be in effect:
Dog walking prices:
$17/walk for 1-4 walks/week; $15/walk for 5-7 walks/week*
*Discount only applies to regularly scheduled walks, within service area and only applies to full weeks. Any cancellations or holidays voids the discount.
There is no additional charge for multiple pets.
However, a $10 surcharge applies per walk if dogs cannot be walked simultaneously (applies only to dog walking)
Service Area:
KK’s Pet Sitting service area extends South to Belmont, North to Dempster, East to Lake Michigan, and West to Central. Any assignments beyond this area may still be serviceable, but there is an additional fee of $5.00 per trip to your location.
Key Pickup/Extra Trips/Hourly Rate
· The first “Meet & Greet” is free. Keys can be accepted at that time. Please only write your pet(s) name on any key tag. I do not put any personal information on them, should keys ever be lost.
· Initial key pickup is free. If you wish for the keys to be returned, or if additional trips need to be made for keys, there will be a $10 charge for the visit.
· If there is any type of unforeseen/emergency situation with your pet, requiring a caretaker to spend more than 1 additional, unplanned hour at your home or in transport to your pet’s veterinarian, etc., an hourly fee of $20/hour will apply.
Holidays
$3 surcharge for the following 5 major holidays: New Years Day, Easter Sunday, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas day
Dog Boarding Prices:
$45/night per dog, $22/extra dog in same household
$10 surcharge for any dog not housebroken, or puppies under 1 year old.
v 25% off discount given to 5+ days/week regular clients.
Overnight stays (in client home):
$65/night – This cost includes feedings, playtime, medication administration and walks (minimum of 3,) as well as other miscellaneous duties (i.e. bringing in mail, watering plants, cleaning pet messes, etc.)
v If it is necessary to stay more then 4 hours (or 2+ walks) the final day, additional night’s rate will apply.
v No deposit currently required, but cancellations may be assessed a $50 fee due to jobs that may have been turned down due to the reservation.
Cancellations:
One (1) free short-notice (less than 24 hours) cancellation per calendar month will be allowed. Additional cancellations of this type will be charged the full walk fee.
Payment:
Checks, PayPal and cash** are accepted and due by mid-week for 5+ day/week clients, by 1st day of service for all other schedules.
(Clients served individually. No "pack" walking is done. Your paid time is yours alone.)
