Script.doc

People ask us all the time, "what do you say when you go into a business?" This script document includes the script we use when we walk in, when to convert from a Free Directory Listing to a presentation and overcoming objections to close the deal on the spot.  This script is in a Word Document.

In our presentation brief case, we have support materials to show the prospects during the presentation.  The above downloads are a letter written by the law firm to collect a $3,000 debt for a member "Collection Letter from Law firm 101DPI".  There is also a copy of the actual check that was received by the client as a result of the letter for $3,000, "Check Collected 101 DPI"...no fees taken out or charged, the service included in the membership.  The final letter is a letter of recommendation written by a customer stating how the collection service alone is well worth the membership, it has increase his receivables by 20%, "Customer Testimonial on Collections 101DPI"  These documents we show to the clients that have a collection need when we get to that part in the presentation.

When talking about your provider law firm, it is nice to have something that shows the law firms qualifications...support materials.  Above you will find the support materials that we use, courtesy of our Certification Trainer, John Sanchez.  This is a great piece to use when trying to close the deal and you ask, "your probably wondering what kind of law firm your going to get for only $110.95 a month."  Pull out the sheet and let them know.  If you are outside of California, you can click on the link for martindale.com and look up and print your provider law firm's information.

Third party endorsement is also a valuable piece of information to have when trying to over come possible objections.  The above download is a sheet that shows some of the magazines that Pre-Paid Legal has been featured in.  This is in a word document format.

 Referals_Form.pdf

Referrals are probably the most important thing you will do at any point in your business.  It doesn't matter if you presented the membership, if you have done a Free Directory Listing then aske the prospect who do they know that they think would like to be listed 1 year for free on our corporate directory.  If you present but don't close, who do they know that they think might benefit from the membership, and when you do close the prospect, you aske them for businesses they know...3 or 4 minimum.  The above download referral sheet is the one that Lisa and I use to accomplish this.

 New_Small_Business_Payment_Authorization_Form.doc

When you close a bundled membership (business plan and a personal membership bundled, and bundled means you sell it as one item for one price), then you will want to get one check for all the bundled applications.  You may have a business plan and a personal membership, here in California, that would be a $110.95 plus a one time enrollment of $20.00 ($10.00 per application) for a total of $135.95.  So your business check is going to be for $135.95.  When those applications get to Corporate, each application will have to stand on it's own.  Using the above downloadable form, you can specify how the check should be distributed and authorize the payment of the personal membership to come out of the business account.  This will help corporate process the application more efficiently.  I have included an example of the form to show you how it should be filled out.  You will want to make a photo ccopy of the form and the check and attach it to each application.  The original would be attached to the business membership.

This Payment Authorization form is also used when we pick up employees on standard family plans that the company is either going to pay for or take out of their pay.  We would fill the form out the same way as when we are bundling the Business plan, getting one check for all personal membership (less than 5 employees) and list them out on the form.  If you have 5 or more employees that qualifies for a group enrollment annd must go on a group card if it will be processed through the business account.  This form does not apply for direct enrollment employees that are paying for their own memberships out of their own checking or credit card accounts.

The lost time worksheet is designed to show the business owner the value of providing the Standard Family plan to his employees either as a Group or Direct Enrollment (depending on the employee base size) and as a fringe benefit or employee paid benefit.  There is specific training available on how to properly use this form.  For a copy of the training you may e-mail us from this website.

We also track everything we do in the field.  Jim Rohn says that somethings we need to track on a yearly basis, somethings monthly, and somethings we must check everyday.  Our business must be checked everyday.  We want to know where we are, how far from our monthly goals we are, and what we need to do to get there.  Daily tracking of your activities also makes you very aware of what you are or are not doing.  Jim Rohn says we must be willing to face our numbers.  Why?  TO AMMEND OUR ERRORS!  If you honestly look over your numbers, they will tell you what you are doing right, what you are doing wrong and where you can improve to get the results you are looking for.  Even if your can't see what your doing wrong, often a quick look by your upline or by your mentor will yeild the insight your looking for.  Here is the tracking sheet that we use.  You simply have to update the dates in the spread sheet to the current date and get to work planning and logging your activity.  Whether you use this tracking or something else, be dedicated to whatever your using to keep the best records possible.

In order to set goals, you need to know not only where you want to go, but you need to know where you're at.  My goal is to obtain the different "Ring" levels in the company.  In order to plan a strategy to obtain them, I need to know where I am at in my efforts at any given time.  For this reason, I put together the below spreadsheet so that I could keep track of my progress.  I offer it to you for the same purpose.  Simply enter in your monthly sales from your PPL associates back office at the bottom of your statistics section.  Your previous months sales are listed there.  Simply enter them into the spreadsheet and the spreadsheet will calculate your monthly sales requirements to get the ring in OKC 09 and Vegas 09, based on September calculations. I hope that it helps.

Probably the most important thing you will do in your ppl business is set goals.  As we are on a monthly cycle, counters reset at the end of each month, it is important to set goals at least from month to month.  The sheets that we have included below will help you to do that and to layout your activity that is required to hit those goals.
