Full text of the Final Red Flag Rules, section 114 and 315 of the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA) - page 3 mentions the compliance date of: November 1st, 2008. UPDATE - announced on October 22nd, 2008... the FTC is giving a six month extension for businesses to be in compliance. The new deadline is May 1st, 2009. |
