A Doctor's Confession to the City of Louisville...Dear Friend,
Confessions are tough. Real tough. But, sometimes a confession can set the record straight, and I want to give credit where credit is due. Before I talk about my confession, though, let me say a few other things first.
You know, when I meet people in town they usually say, "Oh, yeah, I know you, you're Dr. K or Dr. Mike. I've seen your ad and your picture on the shopping carts at Kroger." Or, "I've seen your display at the Jefferson Mall with your T.V. commercial." Well, yes, that would be me.
Years ago something happened to me that changed my life forever. Let me tell you my story. "Back when I was a Rehabilitation Therapist my baby boy Caleb was having numerous bouts of ear infections. He was given many prescriptions for antibiotics and had two sets of tubes put into his ears by the age of three. He also had some type of skin infection that went from behind his right shoulder, down his arm and ate away half of his thumb nail. His pediatrician said it was a birth mark that would never go away.
A friend of mine convinces me to give this other doctor a try. This new doctor does an exam, takes some films, and then 'adjusts' Caleb's spine(neck). The adjustment doesn't hurt him, he actually liked it. In less than four weeks Caleb is not only getting relief from his ear infections and earaches, but that 'so-called birth mark' was completely GONE! Never to return. Oh, did I mention that this doctor is a chiropractor? It worked so well for Caleb, that I, too, became a patient. I was so impressed with the other 'miracles' I saw in his office, that I eventually go to chiropractic school myself. And that's how it happened!"
I graduated Valedictorian of my class at Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina. And my baby boy Caleb is now 20 years old and making the Dean's List in College. He still gets chiropractic adjustments and he rarely gets sick!
