Welcome to Johnston Tutorial School

Johnston Tutorial School is a private school dedicated to serving students from all educational backgrounds, including homeschooled and international students. The purpose of Johnston Tutorial School is to welcome everyone including, but not exclusive to, students who experience learning diversities and students who experience difficulties complying with traditionally structured school environment. The non-traditional methods of teaching at Johnston Tutorial School provide unique opportunities for a wide variety of learning styles. The school provides full day, half day and hourly services to students from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12.

The school's mission and philosophy is to enhance students' learning abilities by tailoring  and implementing individualized programs and Individualized Educational Plans to meet the needs of each student. The teaching strategies, programs and curricula, based on the Ontario Curriculum, are structured to meet the student's learning style, promote individual success and develop self-esteem.
