Basic American Cuisine/Greek Boys Foods has been providing premium menu items at festivals for over twenty six years. Our on-site cooking and kitchen facility will provide a hot, fresh meal prepared by professional festival food vendors. Over the years, we have developed our own recipes for the menu items we offer. All of our recipes call for the finest ingredients and all of our items are made from scratch. We have won numerous awards for presentation and food quality. Several of our items are specifically designed as a healthy alternative. Our concept allows for a broad range of appetites, from the hearty Italian Sausage or Cheese Steak lover, to the lighter Grilled Shrimp Gyro or Greek Salad lover; an alternative not offered by most professional outdoor vendors.
Basic American Cuisine was created in 1981. Our founders brought our now famous hot dog carts to downtown Charlotte, NC and pioneered street vending as we know it today. With very vague rules in the health code, we worked in conjunction with the health department to develop many of the rules that govern street vending today. We have successfully participated in countless festivals and special events in the eastern United States. We invite you to come eat with us at a festival near you.
